Abortion or No Abortion ?

What is the fundamental question here?  Is it that all life is sacred?  Or that some lives are sacred and not others?  Or is it a deeper base problem that is present that abortion on demand is covering up.  What would be the solutions to this underlying problem?

In giving this matter a lot of thought both as a dad, a survivor.   I have come to some conclusions.  Life does not begin at conception, hope begins at conception.  Life starts at the birth, the birth of a viable individual.  Certain developments in the fetus have to occur to allow it to survive disconnected from the mother.  Yes, you can hear a heart beat and yes you can feel movement but the fetus would not survive out side the womb.  The first trimester is preferable for abortion and the third trimester should go to a natural conclusion.  The second trimester is a big gray area.

Unintended pregnancies have been around since the birth of man.  But how we have handled them have changed.  When I was in high school, a girl who got pregnant either got married or went off and then came back sans the new child.  Several girls got into trouble some went away and one couple I know of has been happily married for nearly 45 years.  Now pregnant girls are left in school and given daycare. It is not out of being nice to the girl who had a baby, as the school cannot tolerate the loss of money.

What about adoption?  Giving up a child for adoption is not a bad thing when you are unable to care for it.  It shows that you value the life enough to give it a better chance of succeeding.  Adopted kids are wanted kids and that is what we are after.  Not everyone should adopt and some screening is necessary.  But the State has become involved and they try and palm off children they know have hard wired behavioral problems that are more than just neglect.  While Catholic Charities used to do a good job placing the kids, it was taken over by the state and social workers that do not have the kid’s best interests or a good match in mind.  The State makes people jump through unnecessary hoops to adopt and charges exorbitant fees.  That is why many go over seas to adopt, less paperwork and less money to shell out, even if it means paying to airline tickets to Russia.  Getting the state out of the adoption process would be a giant big first step.  In Nevada the maximum fee is 11,000.  This is extortion by the state.

Now everyone will agree that every baby should be a wanted baby.  But we have a culture that developed a fixation on sex.  From advertising in the 1920’s and earlier comes the notion of easy sex.  This has been forced on us by people who sought to ruin this country from every angle and they have left no stone unturned.   Yes, we have always had porn of one sort or another, some blatant and some not so blatant.  But government had to approve, and the government was already staffed with the people ready to allow the degradation to occur.

As today the governmental is staffed by Union employees at every level (schools included).  Are unions to blame, partly, as a communist organization they hate America and its people.  Just as a rattle snake will eat the rats, you don’t want to live with one.  Sooner or later it will bite you or someone you value.  You cannot change its nature.  Teenagers and young adults are hormone factories and they peak when pregnancy is at it’s most likely to happen time.  Some will have sex, but others won’t.  As a society we need to quit pushing the girls to give in so easily.  A girl playing “hard to get” increases the likely hood of improving on her status the first time around.

Since the 60s, the blatant sexuality went main stream and mixed messages started flowing everywhere.  Women want to be attractive and were fed a steady diet of dissatisfaction right next to the males who took it all in.  Eventually this filtered to the schools and into the curriculum as Sex education.  This varied wildly by location.  Kinsey was widely quoted and continued to be quoted even though the revelations discrediting the study were widely circulated.

Another factor of unplanned pregnancies is welfare.  Women can not only get pregnant but the state would provide prenatal care and pay for the birthing of the baby and for its care afterwards.  (The state loves unwed mothers no matter their color)  The state makes an assumption that mothers wanted to keep their babies and raise them like good mothers.  This is at best naive.  Unfortunately there are many who are just in it for the check.  When you see a young girl have 3 babies before her 17th birthday, she is not in it for the babies.  Notice I have said nothing about race, I have seen it in all races.    We have  professional baby brooders, the girl who sleeps with many and gets pregnant by a few, for a check.  If you stop paying them for babies, you will get fewer unplanned pregnancies.  And maybe you can get  the fathers to pay the child support they should.

Unwanted children will most likely become trouble makers through the neglect they suffered at the hands of women who did not want them and no male figure to guide them and discipline them.  We have some anecdotal evidence to back this up.  The Movie “Freakonomics” showed the effects of abortion becoming illegal.  And it showed some of the effects of  abortion going from illegal to legal.  Well there was an increase in crime in Romania about 15-20 years after abortions were made illegal.  After abortions were made legal here and about 15-20 years later the crime rate dropped.  [1.]

Now the authors do not draw a direct correlation between increased crime and unwanted children but since I do not believe in coincidence, I find it very interesting.  They also saw the trend in some of the states that legalized abortion prior to Roe V Wade.  Another reason to not pay girls to have babies they have no intention of raising.  Since Black on Black crime is a big issue and the black family is nearly destroyed in the lower income brackets.  Allowing abortions will keep the crime rate about where it is.  And lowering the abortion rate through education and virtue would be most preferable to more unwanted kids continuing as programmed.

Finally, I will tell you I wish there were no abortions, but I also want no unplanned pregnancies as well.  Answers are easy, but good answers are a bunch harder.  I will defer to freedom at every opportunity.  Giving every child a good home would be a lot easier with out government interference.     A school that will take a girls ibuprofen away, but then take her to get an abortion is at best two faced and approves of unprotected teenage sex and the abolition of parental rights.   Such a school is a detriment to any community and we have them in spades.  Schools need to quit blaming the parents for the lessons taught to the students by the schools.

The 100 yard dash vs Progressive Policies

Do you expect a 100 yard dash to end in a dead heat. I expect that some runners will be faster than others. There can be only one winner. The race would not be exciting if everyone crossed the finish line at the same time, there would be no winner. And the same results over time would make the race anticlimactic. Why run when the outcome is fixed. Progressives would like to fix the race to make everyone winners. Even little kids know better. The philosophy that everyone gets a trophy and that somehow makes everyone special, makes no one special.

Isn’t that special? The answer is NO and actually it’s psychotic.

Progressive policies over the last 100 years are how we have gotten into the mess we are in now, both economically and socially. You may want to blame this guy or that guy but in reality it is the entire progressive movement in government that is at fault, and going in the wrong direction.  I include civil servants and I blame them the most as they run the government day to day.  Elected officials pass out tax dollars like the guys on floats during Mardi Gras in New Orleans throw out beads. But fail to adequately check unbounded government power.

The double standard of forced sharing is quite evident among college students. It’s ok to have the government take money form those who earned it and then redistribute the money to those who did not earn it, but it’s not ok to give part of your “A” grade to a less deserving student. Double standard or psychotic?

Progressives like Michael Moore and others, are saying that if someone is successful, that he should now be penalized because he is successful. The progressives think that he should be robbed by government (Taxation or outright confiscation) so that others can have an unearned income for free. The excuse is that somehow these people were short changed by the rich ( who ever they are) but the mechanism on how they were short changed is nebulous at best. Did Michael Moore fleece his movie goers? Did he short change them? Why work for a good living if all you do is give the money back? Where is the fun in that? Why would anyone do that? The philosophy is psychotic.

Human nature has not changed in 10,000 years. We find that some people are faster, some are smarter, some are quicker, some are duller. Some sit there like a bump on a log and do nothing but hold a begging sign, but they look bad, smell worse and have great excuses. Sometimes they are valid, and most of the time they are not. Progressives proclaim these bums to be the most needy among us and that we should help those people by use of government force and not charity. Government force is like watching the 100 yard dash with the outcome that everyone crosses the finish line at the same time. Charity is training that person to run faster in an honest race. Which benefits the individual more?

The attempt to control people through leveling is the worst economic and social policy for any country and will lead to only one inevitable conclusion – stagnation and poverty for all., except for the chosen few. The result of poverty government is War.

We can see the values of the progressives philosophy in the public housing projects and the social engineering that has gone on over the last 60 years. How many housing projects would you walk through at night, unarmed? Are illegal drugs sold through public housing residents? Do the city governments of Chicago and other cities display what they confiscated from housing projects? What is the crime rate in these urban ghettos? What is the birth rate to unwed mothers? It takes a mother and a father to raise children. Yes, I can her the howls now of only one is needed, but two makes the work far easier. We here in the United States have 44Million people below the poverty line. The tree bears the fruit it is supposed to bear, is the fruit good or bad?

Progressive policies have given us racial segregation, racial and class warfare, social inequality, the KKK, a right to expect the unearned and the right to label any who do not agree with them with any derogatory term they might think proper. Progressives use any kind of force when it suits them, including War.

In short progressive policies have given us permanent poverty population, not just here but abroad as well. These same progressive policies permeate Europe. All of Europe is in such dire straights economically and socially, they will most likely fail soon. Unemployment is at all time highs, youth unemployment is at 25-30%. They are ripe for war and they have started one in Libya through NATO. Europe has imported crime and most rapes are now committed exclusively by muslims in a few countries.

The riots in Paris are still going on and there are now “Nogo Zones” for police and anyone who is non-muslim. Nothing is said because it suits that government to be PC.

There is not just one cause to these results but there is one underlying philosophy. The philosophy is that there must be an organized social order with a ruling class, and that the social order must be maintained at all costs. It is similar to the cast system in India. Here we would call it slavery. A hard word, and antithetical to the founding principles of this country. Whether a soft slavery like welfare and social security or a hard slavery with actual chains the results are the same – poverty and a true injustice done to people.

And if you ask a true progressive the answer will always come back – “It’s for their own good”. The words may vary but boiled down they will invariably lead to the same sentiment.

To avoid poverty you must allow poverty and success. Success serves as a road map for those in poverty to follow if they want. Many people have done just that, followed the road map out of poverty and this countries original founding principles provides a level starting point in freedom. Closing off the possibility of success, assures poverty.

Unfortunately that level field has been nearly obliterated by progressive policies that stifle creativity, inventiveness and quelled the personal ambition of many people. Just as there are different runners in the hundred yard dash, there are different levels of success and many people will be content with a moderate success. Some will not be, some will have ideas that change the world, most will not. There will be inequality of success and income. This is to be expected and applauded. Not jeered and condemned.

Long before affirmative action, we had a former female slave become a millionaire.  Google the first black female millionaire. You will get a surprise. Her name was Madam C. J. Walker.  Did you ever hear about her, progressives love hiding our true history.

Given the choice between the principals of freedom or of principles progressivism, I prefer the principles that founded this country and I will not expound on them here. This is already too long so I will wrap it up in a neat little package for you.

If you want everyone the same, equal in every way. If you want everyone to have the same things and the same outcomes then you are wishing for a stagnant society. There will be no social advancement through your hard work or initiative. It will only be granted at a whim of those in power and can be taken away just as quickly. With no upward mobility available the society will become stagnant. Please show me how a stagnant society prospers or advances mankind in any way. To work for a stagnant society is psychotic and those who are working for this are either ignorant and stupid or truly psychotic.

Those Evil rich, or are they

The capitalist who risks his money on any venture provides tools and facilities for others to make their job possible and more productive. By leveraging the tools the worker earns far more than he could on his own. And as the worker earns the man who risked much , get a small reward in relationship to the investment. IT is the leverage of the tools and the management of the people where the numbers multiply and make the money.

Those “Evil” Oil companies leveraged a restrictive government regulations, acquiring the raw material, refining that into so many products that they do now waste a molecule of it. You are wearing an oil product or you are sitting on a oil product right now. T?hey distribute those products to smaller vendors who then sell those products at a small profit. Now, how is Justin going to make gas for his car, or is it just going to fill his tank in some act of magic.

Apple makes a terrific product called an Ipad, they make 42% profit, they build their product in China because they cannot build it here due to the costs associated with regulations, and labor. Those jobs will not be coming back anytime soon.

Is the man who makes the Ipad possible worth more than the person who just sells the Ipad? I think so. It’s called thinking. The communist manifesto is a prescription for death, it kills thinking in favor of those who plunder.

Communism AKA Socialism kills ambition, unless the ambition is to rule over men and communism makes everyone poor except those who have successfully plundered the masses by force to rob them of their assets.

The egalitarian ideal is a wonderful thing, but we had that already. WE had a country where a man could use his mind and develop new and better products or services, bring those to market and he could make money. But now the looters and the moochers are in charge and those days are now over. There will not be another Andrew Carnegie, who among other things, with his millions built libraries all over this country.

The Socialism that is being and has been pushed in the schools for the last 40 years has robbed two generations of their rightful place and their ambition. In it’s place they have preached you can have your cake and eat it too but never told them where the cake comes from, or how it was produced. They have been given the false Idea that everything comes from government and the taxes on the “rich”.

If you hate the evil rich people then you have been lied to but worse than that, is that you stopped thinking- if you ever thought. You have tried to corrupt the law of causality. In short you tried to eat your cake before you even made it, you ate someone else’s cake instead. It’s called robbery, stealing, taxes.

WE need some taxes, but in truth we are over taxed by about 100%. You don’t even realize how many taxes you pay, to keep the moochers satisfied.

Yes Medicare is going to change and it should change. It is a program that is the worst form of looting. IF it had been private savings we would be rich, but the government starting in 1964 started looting that program to pay moochers. Now at 65 you are forced into a government program that is inefficient, costs too much, and does not produce the promised results. Ask any retired person on SSI about the golden years and see if the results are worth the taxes imposed.

Our progressive (aka communist) government with it’s nanny state mentality of telling you how to live has caused this. Do you like the results? If not then it must go away, in favor of the individual taking care of himself. If you think the individual is not capable of taking care of himself, are you capable of taking care of him better? If you are truly your brothers keeper, when he robs a bank should you not serve his prison term? You cannot have it both ways, you must choose. It’s either the individual or the collective. One is life, the other is a slow death. Choose.

Let’s talk about taxing the rich. Heck let’s take all of their money.

The rich have all the money were told and that there is plenty of money to go around, if only the rich would give it back. Everything would be fixed, we are told by the likes of Michael Moore and others. The rich don’t deserve that money, they stole it. Did they really? How about Micheal Moore – did he steal it. Well according to some, the lies he told to get that money is akin to stealing. And there is no doubt he is rich, he is stinking rich. We should take his money. And TAX him out of existence.
All those tax moneys need to come back to us because we deserve them.

Are you kidding me? That sentiment is insane at best and is slavery. You don’t support slavery do you?

How did ordinary people get rich? Stealing? They put you in jail for that, don’t they?

You never hear anything about how the rich earned their money. The rich got there for a reason. They got there by hard work or smart planning or little bit of both. “Luck” really does not play a part of it. Our society is full of overnight successes that took 10-15-20 years to make it big, overnight. We’ve got people who started their businesses in the garage. Microsoft comes to mind but Apple started the same way. There is no way to do that today. There are just too many regulations and laws to prevent just such things from happening. Wonder why you are poor, check with the government about that great idea you have and then make it happen. What you will find is a network of laws and regulations all designed to keep you from succeeding.

Starting a business up like that today is neigh on impossible. To get through the red tape, you need to have a lot of money, you will have to deal a lot with bureaucracies in the government. And then if you’re lucky and the government doesn’t decide to put more restrictions on your business or change the game in anyway by adding new regulations or something else you have to adhere to.

Then you learn about making a profit.

It was a wonderful thing – profit. It’s the difference between the price you sell something for and what it costs you to produce a good. Profit, that’s not a dirty word. That’s how we make our money. It’s how we get paid, from profits. Regulations are designed to bleed profits, they are the invisible tax.

A quick question. If you start a business, make a profit, should you be taxed at say 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 70%, 90% over a certain amount? How hard are you willing to work to accomplish that, or will you only get to one point and then quit.

When people say tax the rich, “they wont miss it” or “they can afford it”. It’s done with the understanding that always just a little bit they won’t miss. How do you know? How do you know they won’t miss it? How do you know that’s not critical to their business? Over taxing can take a marginally profitable business and make it unprofitable and close it. Then you loose all of those taxes and those jobs.

Oh, so you want to just take everything over say 250,000. Nobody needs more than that. Right? You want to limit success. And you want to be rich? Or do you just want everyone to be poor, like you. Do you want artificial caps on how much you can make, to help keep you down. Do you think people will work under those conditions? Will you work under those conditions? Or will you get to one point then quit and coast.

What about the wealthy? They don’t need all that wealth do they?
To take the wealth from the Rich you first have to be willing to take away private property and everything that means. It means that if you work for something, you must give it up to those in power. How is that different than slavery? Slaves must work all day and produce and then see the product of their labors be confiscated. How much are you going to produce? I know the answer, just enough to keep you from being whipped. Some incentive, huh? Oh you just want a wealth tax? Say tax everything over $1,000,000. That is just a higher form of slavery.

The myth of wealth redistribution is just that – a myth. Even if you redistribute all the wealth in this country you would have little lasting effect. Using old numbers (2006)that would give everyone $157,000. That is liquidating everything and selling it off. What do you think would happen to prices, how long would the money last you. Just redistributing the taxable income would result in a confiscation of all salaries and result in a per person distribution of $16,187. Boy are you rich. (2006 numbers wikipedia)

This country experimented with Socialism in the 1620’s in Jamestown and it was found to be a failure. They had a group democracy – how is that different from slavery where a person works to make something and have somebody steal it away from them, by law. No private property at all.

When people were given an opportunity to gain from their efforts, in accordance of natural law. Natural law – that’s a new concept for some people. You cannot negate it. It says that as a man you have the right to work for your sustenance and to keep it, or man will not put out the effort to do more than his bare sustenance.

Man will not be altruistic if there is not plenty. Man will not invent, if he cannot keep the profits from his invention. Man will withhold his efforts in the face of confiscation. It’s human nature and that has not changed in 1,000s of years.

This is a land of plenty and there are innumerable articles on how disparate the incomes are and how the wealth is not evenly distributed. So what? We are the most altruistic country on the planet. We were the freest country on the planet, not any more. Those in power are seeing to that. They want to see us fail, not to have us succeed. These socialist politicians want it both ways and it is not going to happen. You cannot have a country that confiscates the wealth of it’s people to give to those who did not earn it and expect the country to survive.

The people who are being robbed will quit, leave or remove themselves from the country. Look at Maryland and New York, California. They have Millionaire taxes and the millionaires are leaving. Many went to Florida – Guess what – No tax!!

Would you condemn everybody in this country to a poverty of existence, on a level with Africa. Or do you want the society to succeed, your success is tied to the success of the society, it always has been.

Some will say what about he poor? When we succeed we take care of those in need, we don’t need government taxes or regulations to do that. The clueless and the lazy are on their own. The claims of hunger in America are inflated, the poor in this country have A/C, flat screen TVs,and cell phones, some states even give them cars and insurance.

The people who call for taxing the rich only want one thing, no rich people. They just cannot stand that someone has more than they do. It is pure envy mixed with greed. Cloaked in a false altruism, to be done by others “more fortunate”. As a society we benefit from the industry and resources of the rich. We benefit by their inventions that make us more productive. This productivity provides jobs. Productivity takes energy and any who seeks to restrict the amount of energy we use is in direct contradiction to our stated goal. To make money. Any who are opposed to making money are liars and not to be trusted.

The more rich people we have the better off we are in every aspect of society.

Why the American Military are NOT baby killers and who really is.

When I was in the service in the mid 70s Viet-Nam was in full swing and we were getting our butts handed to us by an inferior force because we were unwilling to finish the job. Many times in uniform we were called baby killers and nothing could have been farther from the truth – just as it is today. Do kids sometimes get killed in a war zone. The answer is simply yes they do and it is regrettable.

But there is a bigger baby killer than the US military ever could be, even on it’s worst day. It is organized and it makes money killing babies and selling body parts. Any idea how much Placentas go for on the open market?

The organization is Planned Parenthood. A leader in genocide, started as an organization to remove inferior races by keeping them from breeding. Started by Margaret Sanger in the 1920s it posed as a contraception clinic and she was jailed for that. In 2008-2009 they performed over 300,000 abortions. While they are not the sole source of abortions, I would bet they kill more babies than the US military. While they do provide other services they pander and obfuscate their responsibilities in reporting underage pregnancies and the rapes that accompany them. Many other organizations also hide the rapes of underage kids. If there is an underage pregnancy (I use the age of 14) that is caused by an adult, someone needs to go to jail.

In short there were in 2008 1,209,600 abortions and since Roe Vs Wade (1973) there have been more than 53,000,000 abortions. That’s a lot of baby killing. The US military can’t even come close to those numbers even with clusterbombs. Federal funding of abortions must stop as this is an expense that is brought to the taxpayers when it is not a taxpayer problem.

Some may ask, but what if the girl has the baby will she not then be on welfare? That is a whole different discussion for another time.

The Free Speech Zone

Since Huffington Post and Alter.net both are NON FREE SPEECH ZONES, unwilling to allow alternate points of view. ( I know why confuse them it only hurts their brains.)

I am starting this blog to answer them, they are free to post.

Anyone is free to post.  The first time you post spam you are done, honest opinions are welcome.  Pre digested talking points will be dealt with harshly.

I do ramble  and you may struggle to catch up, but I am  ADHD so try and keep up.

The left likes to call the US military “babykillers” so I will address that in my next post.

After that I will take on Tax the Rich and how that is an outright lie.
